We are seeking to recruit an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Front-End Developer with in-depth expertise in WordPress development to join our Marketing Team. This is a challenging opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality digital experiences across our websites, landing pages, email templates, and other web applications. What you'll be doing
- Architect, develop, and test responsive web pages within WordPress and other CMS platforms
- Build custom WordPress themes and plugins based on specifications and best practices
- Design and develop landing pages, microsites, email templates, and interactive tools
- Integrate APIs and third-party services within WordPress environments
- Maintain, configure, and optimize WordPress-based websites for performance and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs and layout issues
- Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders to deliver functional experiences
- Implement technical SEO enhancements and accessibility standards
- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality
- Stay up to date with new technologies and propose improvements to the development process
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with hands-on experience in custom WordPress development
- Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/4, JavaScript, Bootstrap and modern front-end frameworks (React.js, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Solid PHP skills and understanding of WordPress core architecture (hooks, filters, WP_Query, theme/template hierarchy)
- Experience with MySQL databases and writing optimized queries
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
- Knowledge of localization and maintaining multilingual websites
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and debugging proficiency
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Will be nice to also have
- Working knowledge of design tools like Adobe XD
- Understanding of SEO best practices and technical SEO (robots.txt, sitemaps, schema markup, etc.)
- Experience with the Toolset WordPress plugin
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git
- Industry Experience is a plus
